An Economic and Educational Development Initiative Abbotsford Technology Park is a future initiative that supports the following economic objectives of the Region:
- Economic and
enterprise development
The Abbotsford
Technology Park (ATP) originated as a concept developed by the Founders
of SRCTec as a Master Plan to enhance the long range economic and
education development of Abbotsford and the surrounding area. Phase one
of this plan (Abbotsford Technology Park) is dedicated to creating a
supportive environment for the fast moving world of high tech. A group
of local retired and semi retired technology executives who founded
SRCTec, plan to leverage ATP as the platform for a more extensive Phase
II; which calls for attracting technology-oriented companies to the area
and making Abbotsford a hub for high tech and advanced technology
enterprises.
